I have been not well in the past couple days. I’m not super sick sick, but I also feel like there’s no energy in my body at all. I constantly feel like there’s a hollow inside my chest as if I was gasping for air every now and then.

I also feel like I needed sleep so badly, like I am constantly wanted to stay in bed. There are times that I found myself sitting down in the corner just to gather energy. About 1 year ago, I’m constantly struggle with not being able to sleep, I remember that every time I slept with Camel, I was so worried that my waking up is disturbing his sleep. There are times, in a hotel, I had to take a smoke of weed in order to fall back asleep with him. Because I love the fact of falling as sleep together.

Now, all I can think of is sleep, I don’t have the luxury to actually stay back and sleep for couple weeks. Yesterday, after class, I was planning to go back home and write a note since there’s so many ideas floating around my head and I have to write it out in order to organize my thoughts. Yet, around 10:30 pm, one of my earlier friend is sad and needed company. So I gather my energy to come out and just drove around the city, to talk random stuff. Got back home at 1:00 AM and slept all the way straight till 8:00 AM to do yoga. You know, that’s 7 hour of sleep, and I still find my head to snooze hour to hour. I can truly understand Camel now when he said, he needed sleep, that he need to sleep for days in order to recover.

I was meant to write about something else today, I want to write about inspiration. Last Saturday, I visited a factory, well a factory that has 8 small factories inside that is specialize in Porcelain named Hao Canh. I’ve not had the experience in visiting many factories so I don’t really understand the massive scale of it. My friend told me that the scale of this factory is exceptional. I was visiting a really strange office building that is so big, so nice, and you have to take your shoes off once entering the building :D.

The owner is 1 couple, the husband named Cảnh, and the wife named Hảo which brings the name of the factory is: Hảo Cảnh. The couple is an under educated one, they didn’t finish highschool, used to be a farmer. Yet, 20 year ago they set out a vision that every family/household in his neighborhood is able to afford a toilet make out of nice white porcelain. 20 years later, he built a massive empire and was able to sell 1 toilet for couple hundreds thousand, a bowl is 3,000 vnd.

I cannot even begin to describe how big, how massive and how efficient this place is. This is a semi-automatic factory and he’s looking to transform it into a fully automatic factory by 2025. They use gas as energy to help the oven, so there’s no dark smoke, no pollution at all. The factory imported these robots from Czech Republic, and then from Turkey, then they re-did it themselves. I mean I don’t know how to describe the massiveness of it.

But what surprise me, and what inspire me the most is the owner. This massive 8 factories in one are running by 2 people, without the middle management. The guy- Canh is a genius in creating new products, he constantly pushing boundary, to create a perfect product. He’s so proud of it, he is taking the time to show me the Bone Porcelain that is so fine, so thin, that can create a wind chime sound. The wife – Hao, took me to lunch at her house and feed me until I cannot breath. I mean, the humbleness, the down to earth vibe of these couples vibrate into my skin and bone. I want to have this kind of love, this kind of sharing, this kind of Yin and Yang.

They needed someone to help creating the name. The product is so nice, yet they are so focusing in OEM, they never actually try anything for this kind of work. I of course, immediately want to help. I know, I know, I’m so busy, and I’m already overworked my body. But they are so inspiring, and I want to help, I want to bring and show the world this spectacular product. I want to use my skills, that I usually don’t like to do, to show the country and possibly the world this magnificient piece that is so environmental.

So me and Thao accepted the challenge of re-branding the product from top to toe. To be honest with you, I don’t know how, and don’t know when, and don’t know where I can find the time to put into my already very hectic schedule. But I believe I will, I’m looking at by April 19th, I will be in Ha Noi to open our branch, and then showcase the work.

Oh, have I told you that my Ha Noi Branch is almost ready? But that’s for the next post. I hope I can find the time to write about it today.
