Quarantined Camp Day 12 – HA NOI
Hello, it’s me again. I slept a little bit better than yesterday, probably due to the lack of sleep in the previous 3 nights. It’s 4 AM now, among the quietness comes the buzzing sound of cicadas, I’d like to call it the sound of summer.
We did our final Covid-test yesterday to determined if one of 299 people coming from Thailand bring the deadly virus. So far it’s pretty positive that we are all virus free and 4 more days starting from today, we can be released back to the society. Though we are not out of it yet, people has already started to be more relaxed in this camp. There are rooms to rooms gatherings. In our rooms, we remain isolated.
Living in here in the past 11 days has given me a very surreal feelings. It felt as if I can pierce into each of the person’s life. The setting up of this camp, where all the rooms are see through, has created the rights to access to each other’s life. I’ve never slept in a open door place before, even through camping, we zip the the entrance. In here, because of the heat, we slept with the door opened, as if we would have slept out in the open.
I’m quite surprised with the population here as well, I assumed the majority of the population in here are travelers. To my surprised, the majorities are the ppl who has been living and working in Thailand under Tourist Visa. They are rich and big business owner.
Well, my mind seems not with me today so I will stop writing now :).
